A Note to Heartwood CSA Folks
Hi Guys,
We too are saddened that Justin and Carin will be closing Heartwood Farm, but as farmers ourselves understand their struggle. While we at Kiss the Cow greatly enjoy feeding you, our community, the truth is that farming involves endless work and brings in very little money.
Happily, Justin and Carin have decided to continue growing fresh vegetables for this summer, as well as root vegetables for next winter. Although they will no longer offer their CSA, we have partnered this season so that you can still get your Heartwood veggies. You can do this two ways:

About the Farm Store
Many of you have been to the Farm Store, but if you haven't here's how to get there:
We're located about a quarter mile down the road from Feast & Field, at 2248 Royalton Turnpike. There are signs and plenty of parking. The store is self-serve and open 24/7. We’re putting in another 2-door cooler as well as a walk-in storage cooler out back to have plenty of veg available at all times. There are a ton of other products from Eastman Farm, Fable Farm and almost three dozen other local, small farmers and producers. Oh, and bring the kids! We’ve plenty of cute calves right now.
About the Whole Diet Summer CSA
Everything in the Farm Store is available through our CSA. All of Heartwood’s vegetables, plus over 150 other foods.
We have a free-choice CSA model where you receive an email each week with updates and a reminder to place your order. You order what you want online. Your items will be ready for you to pick up at your location. Pay only for the food you order.
Multiple pickup locations. Multiple share prices. Multiple, easy payment options.
Note: There will NOT be a pickup at Feast & Field. However, you could simply choose the Farm Store as your pickup location and stop before or after going to Feast & Field. (Actually, if your pickup is the Farm Store you can stop by ANYTIME you want).
